Menomonie Sunrise Rotary-Member Classification Talk
Deepening relationships both personally and professionally through fellowship is key to Rotary. Classification talks are a great way to accomplish that goal. Thank you for volunteering to share your story. Please use the following as a general outline to guide you. Plan for 15-20 minutes. You may think the group already knows you. While they most likely do, they will still have questions. Don't forget to ask for them!
The suggestions below should be presented in whatever order feels right to you. Just tell your story!
General Demographics
Where were you born? Where did you go to school? Where have you lived previously?
Family
Are you Married? Do you have kids? How old are they? Where are they located?
Hobbies
What do you like to do? What might surprise the group?
Career
Past and present job? What is your specialty? What is something that makes your job unique? Describe a challenge you overcame in your career. Describe how you see your job changing in the future.
Why, how, and who got you into Rotary?
When you are done working, what do you see yourself doing?
