Saturday, a dreary gray day in Menomonie, a group of about 10 Sunrise Rotarians came to Winterhaven Homeless Shelter.  Buckets, brooms and mops in hand they split up to clean all three levels of the shelter!
Winterhaven Residence is a Stepping Stones house used in the winter months to offer shelter to homeless families and individuals from November-April.  We started early with the coffee ready and brownies/rolls
first thing we see in the kitchen.  Diane, Jim P. and Josh are busy cleaning floors, walls and bathroom upstairs till shiney bright.  Joan, Tom and Mike are taking the main floor, kitchen and windows to task.  Kaye, Jim K. are
hard at work vacuuming and cleaning the basement apartment.  Joan did a great WOW job cleaning the stove, oven and refrigerator. Tom and Mike helped repair the combination window problem, so now the downstairs
will stay warm.  Thanks to all, a JOB WELL DONE Rotarians, Service above Self!  See ya next year, same time.
